Welcome to the Chilliwack & District Pipe Band Website!
The Chilliwack & District Pipe Band, also know as the C&D, is a Grade Two competition pipe band located in Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada.
Established in 1961, the band has a long history in the local community and on the competition circuit. The band is the senior band in the Fraser Valley Pipe Band Society; an organization of three pipe bands.
News...Calgary / Canmore September 2006 - we're number one! The band placed first in both Calgary and Canmore competitions on September 2nd and 3rd 2006. Competing against other Grade Two bands the band placed first both days. Listen to the Calgary audio here.
News...Scotland - August 2007 - the band placed 1st at North Berwick and 8th at the World Pipe Band Championships! Congratulations to all of the band members for their efforts! Click here for a sample video of our final round performance.
Burns Night 2008 - the band is playing at and co-hosting a Burns Supper on January 26th, 2008. Tickets will be available soon.
